Forgotten books of Eden

The inclusion of Jewish and early Christian literature as part of the biblical canon has been the main subject of many councils until the Councils of Carthage (397 and 419).

The known literature that has not been retained in this canon (known as apocryphal) may have a contested authorship, or conflicting views with the main religious dogma. In modern times, this lead to a fantastic number of conspiracy theories, the study of which is not the main subject of this article. More interestingly for the masonic reader, apocryphal literature is usually at least as rich as the canonical biblical in terms of symbolism, as it is well known to us.

It is in this context, that we propose the reading of The First Book of Adam and Eve, available online here and to order there.
